Wow... That Curse Aint No Joke! Lol...

I had every intention of coming back the next day and posting and I ended up not coming back until just now! Holy crap... Lol

Anyway... I am really going to try to do better. I've just been busy getting this whole nail polish venture off the ground. Good Nails Gone B.A.D. coming soon! Once that is all situated, I will have much more time to blog and much more to talk about I'm sure...

But for now, I'm going to post every couple days with the backlog of nail designs I've been doing...

Let's start with these from the Disneyland trip...
I painted Minnie Mouse nails on my niece, the monster...

She loved them...

Little sister #2 loves Piglet so I recreated a design I saw on another blog...

They didn't come out as awesome as the original ones. I was already in Anaheim at the hotel when I painted these and I didnt have all of my regular brushes, colors and supplies... No excuses though... Lol

I really wanted Eeyore nails but I never got the chance to paint my nails while we were on our trip so when I got back, I decided to pay homage to another Disney character on my nails...
Ursula is my most favorite of all the Disney Villains... I kinda wish my nail was longer so I could've got her mouth in there... I know it would've been too fresh!

So that's all for today... This is a Disney post so hopefully I'll be back soon...

As a matter of fact, I'm about to do another post right now so we can just kill this Disney curse once and for all...

Stay classy.

Peace... And much lacquer to you.

Movie Swag Week: Day 7...

1. Sue Ellen Crandell: Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (1991)
A fashionista in her own rite, Sue El took the bull by the horns when Mrs. Sturak, the babysitter who had been terrorizing her siblings, unexpectedly met her maker.

In order to get the job of your dreams you have to sometimes embellish your resume and spruce up your wardrobe. Sue El knew this and was well prepared for the task at hand.
She had the cut-and-sew skills to turn her mothers less than adequate clothes into a fashion forward selection of funky, yet fresh workplace attire. Not only did she transform herself into a 17-year-old fashion executive, but she spearheaded GAW's transition into a uniform manufacturing power house.

I've done this design before on my sister's nails but Sue El's earrings in the first pic made me think of this design so I decided to do it on my nails...

Sue El had some pretty fresh accessories. I think these nails fit nicely with her style...

And there you have it. The seven most swagged out female movie characters according to me. Who are your seven?

Stay classy.

Peace... And much lacquer to you.

Movie Swag Week: Day 6...

 2. Cher Horowitz: Clueless (1995)

Kreayshawn speaks about her disdain for high fashion garb in her song Gucci Gucci, but Cher Horowitz proved that just because you rock that new, new ish, it doesn't make you a basic chick.
A silver spoon fed teenager with a heart of gold, Cher had the means to rock the high-end gear and the fashion sense to wear it well.

This plaid design was inspired Cher's yellow plaid outfit in the movie...

One more swagged out lady... Who could it be???

Stay classy.

Peace... And much lacquer to you.

Movie Swag Week: Day 5...

3. Teri Griffith: Just one of the Guys (1985)
Suspecting that a coveted summer Journalism internship is out of her grasp unless she takes drastic action, Terri decides to enroll herself in a school across town posing as a boy to give herself a leg up on the competition.
Girl Terri                                 Boy Terri
Fresh to death whether she was dressed as a girl or a boy, Terri had males and females alike hoping to be the object of her affection.

Both boy Terri and girl Terri had a flawless wardrobe. No matter whom she stepped out of the house as, she was dressed to impress.

I used the two colors that represent the two different sexes. I did this design on my sister's nails.
Argyle always makes me think of high school for some reason. I don't know why. But that's why I chose argyle...
 This is what I used:
Pure Ice-Flirt Alert
Sinful-Savage
Good Nails Gone BAD (franken)-Diamond Heist
Stay classy.

Peace... And much lacquer to you.

Movie Swag Week! Day 3...

5. Veronica Sawyer: Heathers (1989)
She may have had questionable taste in friends (and men), but she had great taste in clothes.
If you're going to engage in homicidal reindeer games with your boyfriend, you might as well do it in style. I'm sure her fashion forwardness made her the talk of the town amongst swatch dogs and diet coke heads alike.

One of the things that stood out the most to me about this movie was that each of the girls wore one color and one color only. I decided to channel that in my nail design.
As you can see, I also channeled Martha Dumptruck...

 Teenage suicide: Don't do it.
 This is what I used:

Color Club-Almost Famous
Essie-Mesmerized
Essie-Yummy Forever
Ruby Kisses-Neon Green
I saw two shirts that I was contemplating on getting in honor of my adoration for the movie Heathers. But I couldn't decide which I was gonna get...
Ultimately, I decided on the one that says BIG FUN. I cannot wait to wear it...

Geat movie, great fashion...

Lady #4 tomorrow... Any guesses?

Stay classy.

Peace... And much lacquer to you.
